Welcome to the Horse Fair Practice Group

We are a 6 Doctor Training Practice operating from 3 sites:Keele Logo

    • Sandy Lane Health Centre
    • Hillsprings Surgery
    • Armitage Surgery

We are committed to providing high quality care to both new and existing patients living in Rugeley, Armitage and surrounding areas.

The Practice has GP Trainees, Medical Students, Practice Nurses, Administration and Reception staff and a wider primary health care team to provide the best possible healthcare.  We have a single point access number: 01889 582244.  By dialing this number you will able to make and cancel appointments for all 3 sites, as well as access test results.

All our staff are dedicated to offering a professional service and the surgery website helps us to keep all our patients up to date with news and information about our practice.

As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a useful resource for other health-related information. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like (you can use the Comments/Suggestions facility on the Contact Us page). We can use your ideas to improve our online services and further develop the content of this website.

Summary Care Records

The Horse Fair Practice are supporting the roll out of the Summary Care Record and went live on 6 November 2012.

Summary Care Records will give healthcare staff access to key health information, which means they can provide safer care and treatment to patients in an emergency, for example, when providing care in out-of-hours services.

A Summary Care Record will hold limited essential information such as details of any medications the patient is taking and any allergies or adverse reactions to medicines they have had.

Additional information can be added to a patient's Summary Care Record with explicit consent from patient.

See option 2 on right hand side of page for further information about Summary Care Records.
